Kroll Advisory Solutions was retained as part of the design team to provide security consulting services for the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) project.

Kroll is assisting Hellmuth Obata Kassabaum (HOK) and KAUST with the development and documentation of the design criteria and construction documents for each element of the project including the site, security, administrative, academic, research, community and residential facilities.

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is intended to serve as one of the worlds’ premier post graduate schools of science, engineering and research. The project is being developed and constructed on 36 million square meters of land located along the Red Sea and adjacent to the new King Abdullah Economic City. The focus of the development will be the Academic / Research Campus and adjacent Research Park. The development will be self sufficient and include all necessary support functions and facilities to include utilities, residential areas and all required community services.
