Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio’s Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center recently completed a $218 million, six-year convention center expansion project, including new construction that increased the existing contiguous exhibit hall space to approximately 440,000 square feet, as well as the renovation of the existing exhibition space and meeting rooms.

Altogether, the expansion increased the facility’s building footprint from 540,000 gross square feet to more than 1.3 million square feet, and includes 115,646 square feet of meeting space that is divisible up to 67 ways.

Kroll Advisory Solutions was retained to assist in the planning, design and implementation of exterior closed circuit television cameras (CCTV). The project consisted of updating the drawings and specifications to reflect the Owner requested changes and to implement the closed circuit television cameras originally planned for the project.

Kroll assisted with developing a final system design, preparing construction documents and providing construction administration services.
