New York Times Headquarters, New York, New York
Kroll Advisory Solutions was retained by the base building developer and New York Times to provide security consulting, engineering and construction administration services for the integration of security to both the base building and the tenant fit-up.
This high rise building will serve as the new headquarters for New York Times. The building will be occupied by both New York Times and other tenants, and shall additionally provide a 350 seat auditorium as a large public venue for exhibits and other events.
Each of the major components of the project is being designed by different teams on different schedules. However, many of the security operations / features of the facility must be coordinated to effectively meet the needs of the client.
As the sole security consultant for all three components of the project, Kroll, in conjunction with the developer and owner, has facilitated a coordinated design and implementation strategy.
