Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam, Egypt
Kroll Advisory Solutions was retained by The M.A. Kharafi Group of Kuwait and is currently conducting a Threat Assessment, developing a Security Master Plan and performing several additional tasks for the Port Ghalib community and its occupants.
Port Ghalib is an 8 million M2 resort community which will include several residential and mixed use neighborhoods with 4 – 6,000 residential units, 14-15 resort hotels, an international marina for up to 1,000 yachts, a conference and exhibition center, golf course and other amenities. The total land space to be developed is approximately 17 km of coastline and is 3 to 5 km wide.
The Security Master Plan addresses architectural security, operational security and technological security elements that are to be implemented to reduce or mitigate risks posed by the Threat Assessment. Issues addressed in the Security Master Plan include security department organizational structure, staffing related issues, security infrastructure, as well as security hardware, equipment, technology and communications.
Working closely in cooperation with the client’s IT and telecommunications professionals, Kroll will
develop a plan for the security technology infrastructure for the community. This includes concept development and design for a central Security Operations Center and identification of major security system technologies to serve the community.
