Kroll Middle East: Kroll Advisory Solutions Marks its 7th Year as the Proud Patron of the Dominic Simpson Memorial Trust (DSMT)

Kroll Advisory Solutions marks its 7th year as the proud patron of the Dominic Simpson Memorial Trust (DSMT), a registered UK charity aiming to advance education and facilitate educational opportunity for individuals and communities in the Middle East.

Now in its seventh year, the DSMT has achieved a wealth of initiatives in support of educational opportunity in the countries of the Middle East. Over £260,000 has been raised to fund a number of educational projects in the Palestinian Territories, which include programmes for training kindergarten teachers (with The Early Childhood Resource Centre, East Jerusalem), awarding school and higher education scholarships (with The Dar El Tifl Girls School and Orphanage, East Jerusalem), and the sponsorship of work-related training programmes (with The YMCA Vocational Training Centre Jericho and Ycare International).

The DSMT was established in 2005 in memory of Dominic Simpson, who worked as Regional Head of Kroll Middle East from 1998 until his sudden death in 2004. Kroll organised and funded a memorial dinner in 2005 that launched the trust and has sponsored fund-raising events each year since. The trust’s mission is founded upon the areas of Dominic’s interest and commitment, supporting the education of disadvantaged girls and young women in the Middle East. The DSMT operates in East Jerusalem and the West Bank (excluding Gaza) and invests in educational activities to improve employment chances, increase income, and enhance beneficiaries' confidence and social skills to the benefit of them, their families and communities.
