Profile: Dick Hildreth

Dick Hildreth is a Managing Director at Kroll Risk & Compliance Solutions, where he leads the Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion services, as well as the firm’s relationship with HCC Specialty.  Dick is also responsible for the day-to-day activities of the group’s crisis management planning and response services, Worldwide Advisory & Information Services, area risk assessments, and physical security surveys.

Dick served in a similar capacity as Senior Vice President, Crisis Management & Global Risk Solutions, for Corporate Risk International (CRI), which was acquired by Altegrity in 2010. Dick joined CRI upon retirement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1998, after spending more than 28 years of distinguished service in a variety of investigative and executive positions. After several years in the field as an investigative agent handling kidnapping, extortion, bank robbery, and terrorism cases, Dick finished his career as a Section Chief responsible for domestic and international training for the FBI and local police at Quantico, Virginia. Dick was also head of the FBI agent applicant and background section at FBI headquarters and further served as assistant head of the FBI’s office in Atlanta, Georgia.
