Profile: Lee Spirer

Lee Spirer is Senior Vice President and Global Head of Kroll Risk & Compliance Solutions.  In that role, he leads the growth of the global business focused on due diligence and compliance services. In addition, he developed and has ongoing responsibility for the innovation, data solutions, and emerging technology that are the foundation of Kroll’s Risk & Compliance solutions.

Most recently, Lee served as COO of Altegrity Risk International, where he was responsible for building the business from start up, acquiring key platform companies, leading the growth of the company and playing a key role in the acquisition and integration of Kroll. Prior to that, Lee was head of New Ventures for ARI’s parent company, Altegrity.
 

Before joining Altegrity, he was Managing Partner of LAS Advisory Services, an advisory consulting firm that he founded to work with private equity and venture capital clients. Previously, Lee was the Executive Vice President leading Strategy & Corporate Development at Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. As a General Manager, Lee led Mainspring, Inc., a venture-backed research and advisory company, through start-up, public offering, and eventual sale to IBM. At IBM, Lee played a key role in the $3.5 billion acquisition and integration of PwC Consulting and held a number of senior positions, including General Manager of the $750 million Global Financial Markets Business Unit. Earlier in his career, Lee was a Principal at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, leading segments of the financial services practice.

Professional Experience

• Due Diligence Solutions: Working with a number of the top 10 Global Investment Banks, Lee has led the effort to develop a programmatic approach to ensure that their transactional risk is appropriately mitigated through use of our most cost effective services.
• Due Diligence Platform: Working with our top tier business and technology team, Lee led the creation and implementation of Kroll’s client due diligence platform that today provides a central source for dozens of our clients to manage transactional and compliance due diligence.
• AML Outsourcing: Working with a top 20 global private equity firm, Lee developed Kroll’s AML outsourcing solution to address the client’s needs to scale their function quickly with predictable quality and expense
