Thomas McWeeney is a Managing Director of Global Research Operations at Kroll Advisory Solutions. In this role, Tom is responsible for the overall delivery quality of due diligence solutions, oversees our global operations footprint, manages our diverse group of delivery resources, and allows us to work around the clock across our operation centers.
Prior to joining Kroll, Tom was Chief Operating Officer for Corporate Risk International (CRI), which was acquired by Altegrity in 2010. As COO, he was responsible for the firm’s operations at its headquarters, as well as for administrative oversight for CRI’s various offices. Tom also served as a key member of CRI’s crisis response division.
Tom began his career with CRI in January 2005 after serving eight years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent in New York City and Washington, D.C. He served as Supervisory Special Agent, Domestic Counterterrorism Operations Unit, FBI Headquarters, responsible for domestic counterterrorism investigations throughout the United States. Tom also worked in the FBI’s New York City office managing and investigating healthcare fraud, white collar crime, and organized crime. Prior to his tenure in the Bureau, Tom served as an active duty officer in the U.S. Air Force.
